Md Hifzur Rahman is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and an M.Tech in Urban Development and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Centre (TRIP-C), IIT Delhi.
Prof. Rahman’s academic and research interests lie at the intersection of sustainable urban infrastructure, environmental management, and transport systems. His work engages with pressing urban challenges such as air pollution, traffic noise, climate resilience, and road safety. His current doctoral research focuses on traffic noise in urban environments, contributing to the broader discourse on public health and urban livability.
He has presented his research at national and international conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals. His interdisciplinary approach and commitment to evidence-based urban policy make him a valuable contributor to both academic and practitioner communities.
